I just started drawing that pink monster in my sketchbook and it generated into this scene. Not sure what it means or why the toad is laughing at the monster, best to work it out for yourselves!

Inspired by the recent YouTube video doing the rounds at the moment, a poignant scene from a documentary which shows a man in an old folks home listening to music from his era, and marvelling in delight at the wonders it can provide.

Tribute to the greats...

The 90s sitcom Bottom has always been one of my favourite shows, ever since I first saw it as a ten year old. This is my tribute to Rik and Ade which I have been putting off for some time.

I haven't done an image comprised to silhouettes for quite a while, so thought I'd rustle one up as well as a picture of me all monster-fied which I will most probably use on all my blogs, Facebook, art pages etc. The silhouette one really works with the clouds although it took me a loooong time to experiment with the hue of the sky!

After much deliberation (well, a few days) I have decided that I do not like the Gutterwipe logo. It is perhaps a bit too garish and gaudy, and I am looking for something a bit sharper and more professional, so if you see a new logo pop up soon...well, now you know why.

Yeah, so new post on brand spanking new blog. Tell you the truth, I'm not much of a 'blogger', I don't really have much to say, I'd rather let my artwork do the talking. Every picture tells a thousand words etc, why don't you just put ten pictures in your essay then?

I thought of this image in my brain randomly when reading one of my illustration books, and quickly drew it before it escaped my mind. Normally, my ideas escape my mind very quickly which is pretty unfortunate. It is pretty self-explanatory anyhow.

A nice splash of colour...

Okay, so new blog, just getting used to it...font..check. Bright colours...check. Okay so I did this as a spur of the moment kind of thing (which is pretty much how I create most of my stuff) and was just testing a colour scheme I had in my head. I maybe should've limited it to less colours but I'll maybe rework it some time.
